Our vision for CafeJesus is for it to become a tool for the Lord to lead
others to Him, bless us with fellowship, and let Christians around the world
get together using the internet as a medium to hold bible studies, peaceful
discussions, pray for one another, or just talk in a safe environment.
CafeJesus Guidelines
We welcome your visit as a guest here at CafeJesus Chat. As a guest, we
ask that you follow the guidelines that we have established for anyone
who wishes to take advantage of our hospitality.
Doctrine / Teaching
We have established this chat for Christian fellowship and
encouragement. While visiting us at our site, we ask that you refrain
from argument of doctrine. We encourage you to share any scripture that
is uplifting and encouraging to other Christians but we ask that you
refrain from any teaching or deep theological discussion that does not
mutually edify one another. Anyone who is not an Operator in the chat
has not been invited to teach on any level.
Music
We do not allow any discussion of any secular (non-Christian) rock or
country music or group that sings such music. Since we do not have time
to go over every song that is out there that is not Christian, we felt
this was in the best interest of the chat.
Chat Handles / Nicknames
We do not allow handles of rock or country groups, movie stars, titles
(such as Rev., Dr., Pastor, Apostle, Teacher, etc.), or any other handle
that may be considered sexual, satanic, or inappropriate. If an
operator in the chat asks you to change your handle, please respect their
wishes.
We have also disallowed any handles having the word 'angel'
in them as they frequently are abused.
Pictures / Images
After posting an image in the chat, it will have to be approved by an
operator in the chat before others can view it. Please do not post any
pictures that contain nudity, immodesty, secular music groups, etc. This
invites an immediate boot.
Operator Authority
We have chosen certain people who are born-again Christians from
different areas and denominations. They have been chosen based on
character, ethics, and faithfulness over a long period of time. We also
have performed a strenuous background check on our leadership. If any
Operator asks you to change your conduct or remove an image, please
respect their wishes and comply with their request.
Operators have been given the facilities to remove you from this chat.
They have the authority to ban you at any time for any reason they deem
necessary.
Our operators are not necessarily trained counselors and we do not
present them as such. Any advice given to you by an operator is
strictly their opinion. Please do not take any counseling or advice as
professional.
Private Messaging
In order to keep CafeJesus a safe and clean place to visit, we have
disabled the ability to send private messages. If you have private conversation
to conduct, please use some other means.
Official Language
The official language of this chatroom is English. There will be no handles or
communication in any language but English in CafeJesus. This allows our
operators to properly monitor all communication.
Complaints
Any complaint should be emailed to seenthelight@cafejesus.com and not discussed
in open chat. It does not benefit the situation to draw other chatters
into the problem.
